Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS)

Currently ADFA uses a combination of passwords and there are plans to merge into a single username and password.

The are 3 types of passwords currently in use:

New zPass

UNSW at Kensington is introducing the Web Single Sign On service (wSSO) from 8th of October 2010, enabling one login to multiple web applications. Initially these will be myUNSW and Blackboard. Other applications, including the Sirius Library database, may be added later.

This will affect all users. Staff members who have been at UNSW Canberra for some time, and whose usernames begin with an 's', will need to be aware that the zPass will not accept the 's', and these staff members will need to use a 'z' instead for these systems.

Access to wSSO is with zID (z followed by your student or staff ID) and zPass ? UNSW's new password system. From 8th October UniPass will no longer give you access to myUNSW.

You can create a zPass already at the following sites:

Note when using wSSO that myUNSW will no longer have its own login fields; these will be replaced by a 'Sign On' button that will take you to the wSSO login page.

For full information about wSSO go to the IT at UNSW Web Single Sign On page:

There may be an outage of myUNSW and Blackboard during this change ? further information will be supplied nearer to the date.

There will be no change to your ADFAPass, but you may want to change your ADFAPass to match your zPass once you have created it. To do so, go to:
